Untrodden - Yours to discover

Featuring crystal clear waters of seemingly endless waterfalls and hot springs, fascinating rock formations and the lush vegetation of a tropical rain forest, Hainan offers the visitor experiences and spectacular scenery that will be remembered for a lifetime.

One of the greatest treasures of Hainan is its tropical rainforest and central highlands.  They are both highly recommended, and easily experienced as long as you have a little fortitude, and a good sense of adventure!

Mt. Wuzhi, Hainan's tallest mountain, was once considered a holy site. Located deep in the interior of Hainan, visitors can take a local bus (complete with chickens and agricultural products) or hire a motorcycle complete with driver to take you to Mt. Wuzhi. Be sure to have a camera with you, because the views truly are out of this world!

Thousands of species of plants,  mountains so high they will shroud you in mist as you begin to climb them, and rustic villages that will make you think that time has stood still --- all this awaits you --- if you are brave enough (and wise enough) to get off Hainan's beaten track for at least a small part of your trip!

Spectacular Baihua Ridge and its waterfall are not to be missed.  This waterfall is the tallest in Hainan and locals believe that the ridge is inhabited by several Li Goddesses.

Qizhi Shan (Seven Finger Mountain) is believed to be the home of seven lesser Li immortals, defeated and set adrift by the Wuzhi's five.  This mountain is climbable, but despite being a shorter climb than famous Mt. Wuzhi, is a much harder climb.
